Martin C. Fliesler, Esq., is the founder and Senior Partner of Fliesler Meyer LLP, a law firm specializing in high technology and intellectual property law. Since its founding in 1982, Fliesler Meyer has been located in the San Francisco Financial District while representing Silicon Valley-based and national and international clients in all phases of intellectual property law and its application to free market U.S. and worldwide economic markets. Mr. Fliesler is Chair of the Working Committee of the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of California that has written Model Patent Jury Instructions used by the Court to explain complex patent law to juries. He has been Chair of the Magistrate Judge Merit Selection Panel also appointed by the Chief Judge of this District Court. Mr. Fliesler is President of the San Francisco Bay Area Intellectual Property Inn of Court whose work focuses on intellectual property law. Mr. Fliesler started his career in intellectual property law as a Patent Examiner in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Fliesler and Fleisler Meyer have represented over the years such well-known Silicon Valley companies as Oracle, Apple, AMD, Symantec, Yahoo!, Xerox, Fuji-Xerox and numerous other highly innovative high technology companies that are the bases for today’s intellectual property driven economy. He holds a B.E. degree from Stevens Institute of Technology and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
