Michael G. Crofton, President and Chief Executive Officer, manages equity and fixed income portfolios for individuals, foundations, endowments, Taft-Hartley plans and public and corporate pension plans. Previously he was a Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager and member of the portfolio review committee at Rittenhouse Financial Services, Inc. where he managed $1 billion in assets. He also served as a Senior Vice President of the United States Trust Company where he managed $14 billion in mutual funds, institutional and individual assets and oversaw the trading, portfolio management and analytical staffs. Mr. Crofton has served on numerous corporate and eleemosynary boards including Cyberphone Inc., XRT Financial Systems, Inc., Thistle Group Holdings, The Pennsylvania Impact Commission and he was a member of Governor Ridge’s 1998 Trade Mission to South Africa. He also served as Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Council of Managers. Mr. Crofton lectures widely on fiduciary issues and has been interviewed on radio and television. He resides in Laverock, Pennsylvania with his wife and five children.
