David R Greenbaum

David R. Greenbaum is President - New York Office of Vornado Realty Trust. Mr. Greenbaum, a former tax attorney at Weil Gotshal & Manges, in 1982 joined The Mendik Company, a private owner of commercial real estate properties in New York City. Mr. Greenbaum was named President of The Mendik Company in 1990. In 1997, The Mendik Company merged into Vornado Realty Trust. Mr. Greenbaum is a vice chairman of the Citizens Budget Commission, a private watch-dog organization which oversees the City's and State's fiscal policies, a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Governors of the Real Estate Board of New York, a member of the Realty Advisory Board and is on the Board of Directors for the 34th Street Partnership as well the Grand Central Partnership, both public/private efforts to enhance New York's mid-town business districts. Mr. Greenbaum is also a member of the New York University Real Estate Institute's Advisory Board as well as a member of the Executive Roundtable Committee of the Advisory Board. Mr. Greenbaum was selected by the New York City Partnership to participate in the 1994-1995 David Rockefeller Fellows Program. Mr. Greenbaum was also appointed to the Board of the New York City Industrial Development Authority by Mayor Giuliani where he served from 1996 through 2000.
