Pete du Pont has served as a state legislator, U.S. congressman, governor, and Republican candidate for president of the United States. As Delaware’s governor, du Pont signed into law the first tax reductions in the state’s history, balanced the budget eight out of eight years, and revived the business climate. He writes a monthly column for the Wall Street Journal and serves on the board of the National Center for Policy Analysis.
