William D Harvey

William D. Harvey, 69, retired in March 2012 as chairman and chief executive officer of Alliant Energy Corporation (“Alliant”) and its two utility subsidiaries, Interstate Power & Light Company and Wisconsin Power & Light Company (“WPL”). Harvey served in those positions since February 2006. Alliant is a Madison, Wisconsin-based public utility holding company, which provides regulated electricity and natural gas services through its subsidiary companies. He is a general partner of Shade Tree Investments Limited Partnership, a private family investment group. He has been a director of CMS Energy and Consumers Energy since August 2012. Harvey has served as Presiding Director since May 2016. Harvey currently serves as a director of Sentry Insurance Company. Nominated Term expires in 2011. Mr. Harvey has served as Chairman of the Board of the Company, IPL, WPL and Resources since February 2006. He has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and as the Chief Executive Officer of IPL, WPL and Resources since July 2005 and as President of Resources since January 2005. He previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company and Chief Operating Officer of IPL, WPL and Resources since January 2004 and as Executive Vice President - Generation for the Company, IPL and Resources and President of WPL from 1998 to January 2004.
