Guilherme Peirao Leal

Leal resigned from his post last May as cochair of Natura Cosmeticos, a Brazilian version of Avon, to run as the Green Party candidate for vice president in the 2010 Brazilian presidential election. (He did not win.) Before getting into politics Leal helped Natura founder (and fellow Brazilian billionaire) Luiz Seabra build the cosmetics business into a multinational company, with consultants selling makeup and creams across Brazil and seven other Latin American countries. He personally promotes biodiversity and sustainable business practices and has worked with the World Wildlife Fund of Brazil.
