Jeffrey S. Wilpon serves as Executive Vice President of Sterling Equities. He has a 25-year history of actively supervising major new building construction. His most recent relevant projects include the development and construction of 383 Madison Avenue in New York City as well as Citi Field in Flushing Queens. He also has extensive experience in overseeing major school, entertainment and tenant installations as well as the transactional aspects of such projects. Mr. Wilpon is the Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the New York Mets, where he oversees the team's day-to-day baseball and business operation and the Mets Foundation. Mr. Wilpon also serves as the Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Brooklyn Cyclones, where he worked in partnership with the City of New York to oversee the planning, design and construction of MCU Park, the Cyclones' ballpark. Additionally, he is the Chief Operating Officer of the Mets Development Company and Queens Ballpark Company, L.L.C., a wholly owned subsidiary of the New York Mets, responsible for the planning, design, development and construction of Citi Field. He also serves on the boards of the MLB Network and Major League Baseball Enterprises as well as on the Boards of other non-profit organizations and institutions. In 1983 he was drafted as a catcher by the Montreal Expos.
