Grant Porter is a Vice Chairman of Banking at Barclays and Chairman of Global Natural Resources Banking. Mr. Porter joined Barclays Capital from Lehman Brothers in September 2008, where he held the same position and served on the firm’s Senior Client Counsel, Investment Banking Business Development Committee and Principal Opportunities Committee. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers as a Managing Director in 1986, Mr. Porter was a Managing Director in the Chase Investment Bank covering Energy Corporate Finance at Chase Manhattan Bank. Prior to that, Mr. Porter was Vice President and National Petroleum Executive in Chase Manhattan Bank’s Petroleum Division. Mr. Porter holds a B.A. in English from Brown University and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Program for Management Development. Mr. Porter serves on the Board of Trustees of The Taft School, where he is Vice Chairman of the Board and Head of the Finance and Investment Committee; the Advisory Board of New Providence Asset Management and the Board of the Teagle Foundation. He is also a member of the Business Committee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
