Sandra Parker, an influential business leader in Rochester, died Saturday June 5 2021 after a short battle with cancer. Parker, the former president and CEO of the Rochester Business Alliance (now known as the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce) was 74 years old. In recent years, Mayor Lovely Warren chose Parker to lead the development of Parcel 5 in downtown Rochester. Parker was honored with Monroe Community College's "Salute to Excellence Award" in 2017 for inspiring local high school students to pursue higher education.
