Mr. Jesse T. Rogers is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at Altamont Capital Partners. He co-founded the firm in 2010. Prior to this, he was a Co-Founder and Co-Principal Managing Director at Golden Gate Capital where was actively involved in building the firm, setting the firm’s strategy, recruiting and managing the team, and approving major firm decisions, including portfolio company investments and divestitures. His area of focus included consumer products, retail, financial services, media, and transportation. Mr. Rogers has been active in private equity as either a Principal or an Advisor since 1990. He has expertise in corporate strategy, turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions assessment, and acquisition integration in numerous industries, including distribution, automotive, packaging, and basic manufacturing. Prior to Golden Gate, Mr. Rogers spent 16 years (1984-2000) at Bain & Company, where he founded, built and served as the Global Head of Bain’s Private Equity Group (PEG). He is a Trustee of Stanford University's DAPER Investment Fund, a member of the Steering Committee for The Stanford Challenge Capital Campaign, a member of the Executive Committee of the Stanford Athletics Board, a Member of Harvard Business School’s Global Advisory Board, and a Member of Harvard Business School's California Research Center Advisory Board. Mr. Rogers holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University.
