Dr. David A. Wilson has been the Chief Executive Officer and President at Graduate Management Admission Council Inc. since 1995. From 1978 to 1994, Dr. Wilson served as Managing Partner and National Director for Professional Development of Ernst & Young LLP. He served as an Audit Principal of Ernst & Young LLP since 1981 and Audit Partner from 1981 to 1983. He has been a Director of Barnes & Noble Inc., since September 2010 and CoreSite Realty Corporation since September 2010. He serves as a Director of the National/Worldwide Board of Junior Achievement and the Board of Directors and Conseil Administration of the Conférie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. He serves as a Member of the Board at The Atlantic Council and a National Trustee of the National Symphony Orchestra. He has served on The Wolf Trap Foundation. Dr. Wilson served as a Director of Terra Industries Inc. from 2009 to April 5, 2010 and Laureate Education Inc. (Formerly Sylvan Learning Systems Inc) from June 2002 to 2007. He served as a Faculty Member at Queen's University from 1968 to 1970, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1970 to 1972, the University of Texas from 1972 to 1978, and Harvard University's Graduate School of Business from 1976 to 1977. He is a Chartered Accountant in Canada and a Certified Public Accountant in the United States. Dr. Wilson holds a B. Com. at Queen's University in Canada, an MBA at the University of California, Berkeley, and Doctorate at the University of Illinois.
