Mark H. Burton has spent his entire business career in the investment banking business. He was most recently with Evercore Partners in New York City. Prior to Barclays' acquisition of the U.S operations of Lehman Brothers in September of 2008, Mr. Burton was a Vice Chairman at Lehman Brothers and a member of that firm's Strategic Committee, Senior Client Council and Business Development Committee. Beginning in 1981, Mr. Burton spent 27 years with Lehman Brothers, becoming a Managing Director and Partner of the firm in 1990 and a Vice Chairman in 2007. Mr. Burton graduated from Dartmouth College, where he played both hockey and tennis, in 1981. He is currently a board member of Newcastle Investment Holdings, a private partnership. He is also the son of 1952 Winter Olympian (Cross Country Skiing) John C. Burton from Minnetonka, Minnesota.
