Oliver Jenkyn joined Visa Inc. as global head of strategy and corporate development in August 2009. In this role, Jenkyn is responsible for global interchange and pricing as well as developing and managing the company's corporate strategy across the 200 countries and territories where Visa Inc. does business. Previously, Jenkyn was a partner in McKinsey & Company's San Francisco office and a leader of the firm's North American retail banking practice and global payments practice. At McKinsey, Jenkyn managed the firm's relationship with Visa for five years, which included playing integral roles in Visa's global restructuring, client needs assessment, information technology performance management, corporate strategy development and other key projects. Jenkyn's role at McKinsey also included extensive global experience across the financial services industry with a specialization in card payments (issuing, acquiring, processing), ACH, check processing and cash management. Prior to joining McKinsey & Company, Jenkyn worked at Bain & Company based out of London. Jenkyn holds a B.A. in economics from McGill University, and an M.A. in business and finance from Harvard University and Queen's University.
