Stephen P Kaufman

Stephen P. Kaufman has been a Senior Lecturer of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School since January 2001. He is retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Arrow Electronics, Inc., a distributor of semiconductors, peripherals and components. He became President and Chief Operating Officer of Arrow in 1985, Chief Executive Officer in 1986, and Chairman in 1994. He retired as Chief Executive Officer in June 2000 and reassumed that position in June 2002 on an interim basis until September 2002. Mr. Kaufman has been a member of our Board since December 1999 and is Chairperson of the Management Development and Compensation Committee and a member of the Finance Committee. Mr. Kaufman is also a director of KLA-Tencor Corporation and Thermo Fischer Scientific Inc.
