Dave Davis (Washington, D.C.), Senior Managing Director, joined Perseus in 2008. Mr. Davis has had significant experience and success in restructuring distressed companies. Until November 2008, Mr. Davis was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Northwest Airlines. While at Northwest, Mr. Davis was the key architect of the company’s restructuring and was a leader in the structuring and negotiation of Northwest’s merger with Delta Air Lines. Prior to that, Mr. Davis was the Chief Financial Officer, with restructuring responsibilities, of Kraton Polymers, a chemical company. From April 2002 to November 2004, Mr. Davis was a financial executive at US Airways and served as Chief Financial Officer during the airline’s restructuring process. From 2000 to 2002, he served as Vice President-Financial Planning and Analysis, also with restructuring responsibilities, of Budget Group, Inc. and prior to 2000, he served in a number of finance and operating roles at Northwest Airlines, BF Goodrich/Rosemount Aerospace, and Rockwell International. Mr. Davis serves as a Board member for the following Perseus portfolio companies: Established Brands International, Inc. and Workflow Management, Inc. Mr. Davis has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.
