Mr. Nickerson, whose halfbrother, Eugene H. Nickerson, is Nassau County Executive, was graduated from Trinity College.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hoffman Nickerson.
He was married to Sheila Bunker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cantine Bunker in September 1964.
