Dana K Hanson

Dana Hanson was appointed District Director for Massachusetts 4th congressional district in January 2021, as newly elected Representative Jake Auchincloss took office in Congress. Dana Hanson, who was previously director of community engagement and inclusion for Newton, Massachusetts Mayor Ruthanne Fuller, after co-chairing her campaign to lead the city. A long time community activist in Newton, Hanson has also held positions on the city’s library boards and school organizations. She has an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies from Brown University and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from the Harvard School of Public Health.
