Neil Fitzpatrick is the founder, COO, and CFO of Headlands Technologies LLC, a global quantitative proprietary trading firm headquartered in Chicago, with additional offices in Austin, San Francisco and Amsterdam. Headlands Technologies is one of the largest futures trading firms in the world. Mr. Fitzpatrick is also CFO of Headlands Tech Global Markets, LLC ("HTGM"), a FINRA registered broker dealer that has grown into one of the leading liquidity providers in the municipal bond market. Prior to Headlands Technologies, Mr. Fitzpatrick was COO of Citadel Execution Services, an affiliate of Citadel Investment Group, LLC in Chicago. Mr. Fitzpatrick was responsible for the design, launch and ongoing operations of Citadel's equities market making and options routing businesses. These businesses executed more than 30% of US retail equity trades and more than 40% of US retail option trades. Prior to joining Citadel, Mr. Fitzpatrick worked for Knight Capital Group in a variety of positions, including responsibility for OTC and Listed Equity Trading operations. He served on the Board of Directors of the Direct Edge ECN and on the CBOE Equity Option Procedures Committee. He earned a CPA license, and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York.
