Nathan Friedman is an award-winning, results-oriented marketing communications executive with nearly 20 years of expertise. In 2017 he founded his own firm, NWF Ventures, which focuses on branding, go-to-market consulting and communication strategy for early-stage companies. Prior to launching his own venture, he was the U.S. General Manager for Citizen Relations, a mid-sized creative communications agency where he oversaw innovation, growth and all components of the business. Nathan held multiple roles over a 17-year period at Ogilvy & Mather, including regional managing director for the West Coast and managing director of Chicago. His expertise crosses many industries for clients that include Proctor & Gamble (multiple brands), TrueCar, Princess Cruises, Kelly Blue Book, Duracell, Huawei, LG Electronics, Covered California, Ciroc Vodka, The Recording Academy, Wells Fargo, Quaker, Tropicana, Deloitte, Softwood Lumber Board, Cricket Wireless, Country Financial, Zebra Technologies, CDW, Case Logic, Crocs and BP. He has won numerous awards for both his client work as well as agency operational achievements. He was also named as one of PRWeek’s 40 under 40 in 2012. Nathan grew up in Washington D.C., currently lives in New York City and is a passionate international traveler.
