John G Fogarty Jr

John G. Fogarty Jr. is Senior Counsel in the Firm’s Chicago office, where he practices in the Government and Public Affairs Practice Group. John regularly counsels a wide range of candidates, such as office holders, political committees, individual citizens, corporations and non-profit entities, in every aspect of the political and legislative process, including ballot access, campaign finance and disclosure, lobbying issues, media issues and party governance. He has represented numerous local, state and federal candidates and political committees before the State Board of Elections, and before electoral boards state-wide, as well as in state and federal courts throughout Illinois. John also represents a variety of clients in a lobbying capacity with the Administration and General Assembly. He has represented clients in various fields such as: agriculture, energy, healthcare, insurance, gaming, municipal issues, telecommunications and transportation. John currently serves as General Counsel to the Illinois Republican Party and to the Illinois Association of Republican County Chairmen.
