Karen Hill Scott

Karen Hill Scott is a nationally recognized child development expert whose consulting firm works with national broadcasters and international producers of children’s on-screen media. Karen has also worked in early education policy. She co-founded Crystal Stairs, California’s largest private child development agency, and chaired the California Master Plan for School Readiness. She received an Ed.D. in learning and development from UCLA where she was a professor and still teaches part-time. She has received several academic and community service awards. She joined the Parsons board in 2008.
