Bernard T. Bartilad is a First Vice President in the Commercial Lending Department at MB Financial Bank, N.A. Involved in the banking industry for over twenty years, Mr. Bartilad has spent the last twelve years at MB Financial Bank supporting privately-owned middle market companies. In addition, he has worked with various non-profit organizations in their capital expansion initiatives through tax exempt bond financing. His clients are involved in manufacturing, transportation and logistics, food distribution, assembly, healthcare, property management, social services and education. Mr. Bartilad started his banking career in 1988. He spent the first 10 years with Bank One (nka JP Morgan Chase), working in the various areas of banking such as retail, treasury management, wealth management and commercial lending/portfolio management. Growing up in the Philippines, Mr. Bartilad graduated from the University of the Philippines with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Economics (Cum Laude) in 1988 and completed his Masters in Business Administration at University of Illinois at Chicago in 1995.
