John Locke

John Locke joined Accel in 2010 and helps lead the firm’s growth fund. He focuses on consumer and SaaS companies. John is the lead investor and board member in SeatGeek, GoFundMe, Lightspeed, WyzAnt, Invoice2Go, Pond5, QMC Telecom, and The Zebra. John also works on Accel's investments in Algolia, CrowdStrike, Monzo, RiskRecon, WorldRemit, and Tenable (where he served on the board prior to IPO). He formerly led investments in Lightspeed (acquired by CDPQ), Braintree/Venmo (acquired by PayPal), and OzForex (public). John grew up in Ashland, Ohio and graduated from Princeton.
