Mr. Preston has over 40 years of successful shopping center development and investment experience throughout North America. Mr. Preston is the founder of North American Development Group (NADG) which today owns over 25 million square feet and has an enterprise value in excess of $4 billion. Mr. Preston was also a founding partner of Centrecorp Management Services, which has become one of the largest private retail service providers in North America. He was also co-founder and executive director of Centrefund Realty, a $1.1 billion Toronto Stock Exchange listed public company which, over a six year period until it was sold in 2000, grew from a portfolio of 5 properties to own over 70 shopping centers. Mr. Preston also co-founded Liquor Stores N.A. Ltd., which grew from 3 stores to over 250 retail liquor stores in Canada and the U.S.. Liquor Stores N.A. is a public company (LTQ:TSX) and Mr. Preston remains one of its largest shareholders. ln 2002 Mr. Preston co-partnered the privatization of Sterling Centrecorp lnc. in a $280 million transaction. Mr. Preston, over the past few years, co-founded numerous funds in the United States and Canada, comprising over $1.25 billion of equity. The funds are investment partnerships comprising private and institutional investors. Mr. Preston received his MBA from York University in Toronto, was born in Canada and moved to Palm Beach, Florida in 1991. He currently resides in Palm Beach and Aspen and is deeply committed to, and very charitable in, both communities.
