is Maryland’s 8th Lt. Governor and he leads Maryland’s efforts on veterans, economic development, higher education, health care, and BRAC policies. Brown previously served two terms in the Maryland House of Delegates. Brown has served in the military for 24 years. In 2005, Brown deployed to Iraq with the 353rd Civil Affairs Command and served with distinction in Baghdad, Fallujah, Kirkuk and Basra. He currently commands the153rd Legal Support Organization. Brown graduated from Harvard in 1984 and Harvard Law School in 1992. He lives in George’s County, Maryland where he raises his two children, Rebecca and Jonathan.
