Throughout the US and Canada, a fleet of Amazon’s Treasure Truck and Prime semi-trailers delivered thousands of STEM toys, books, devices, and household essentials to over 30 organizations that support homeless and displaced children and families. In France, Italy, Germany and the UK, employees provided hundreds of devices to children and schools in communities where we have fulfillment centers. In Spain, Amazonians wrote their wishes for 2018 and for each wish, Amazon will make a donation to a local nonprofit supporting children. And in India, our Amazon.in team donated solar lamps to students who struggle to study at night, in addition to providing thousands of backpacks and other school supplies to celebrate Diwali. These are just a few examples of how Amazonians are giving back this holiday season. I’m extremely proud to work with such kind and thoughtful colleagues.
