Alfred Lin

Alfred Lin runs Sequoia Capital's U.S. office alongside fellow partner Roelof Botha. As Sequoia's in-house consumer internet specialist, Lin sits on the board of short-term rental com[any Airbnb and food ordering and delivery company DoorDash. Prior to joining Sequoia, Lin founded Venture Frogs, enjoying eight exits including Ask Jeeves, OpenTable and MongoMusic.com. Lin built his credibility as a consumer expert while serving as the COO at e-commerce platform, Zappos.com, which was later acquired by Amazon in 2009 for $1.2 billion. Lin also personally scored big an angel investor in ride-sharing app Uber.
