Barry Schwartz

Barry Schwartz is a Partner and Senior Analyst: Media, Telecom, Cable and Satellite at Chatham Asset Management, LLC. Mr. Schwartz joined Chatham Asset Management, LLC in 2006. He was a Co-Founder and Managing Member of Quarry Point Partners from 2004 to 2006. From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Schwartz served as a Managing Director and Head of High Yield Trading and Sales at Bank One Capital Markets (now part of J.P. Morgan). Mr. Schwartz served as Global Head of High Yield Trading at ABN Amro from 1999 to 2001. Mr. Schwartz also served in a high yield research role at BancAmerica Robertson Stephens, Nomura and PaineWebber, where he specialized in the media and telecom sectors. Mr. Schwartz began his career with Merrill Lynch in 1987. He has been a Director at American Media, Inc. since August 15, 2014. Mr. Schwartz earned a B.S. degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Delaware.
