Meridith Webster

Meridith Webster is currently deputy chief of staff to Susan Rice, US Permanent Representative to the UN. Previously, she was an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins. Ms. Webster's practice focuses on litigation including product liability and mass torts and antitrust and competition. In the product liability area, Ms. Webster has counseled clients on complying with the new legal obligations under the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008. Ms. Webster graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center. During law school, Ms. Webster served as a legal intern at the National Women's Law Center and for the Honorable Judge Mott and Honorable Magistrate Judge Dalton of the D.C. Superior Court. Prior to entering law school, Ms. Webster worked as the Director of Press and Public Affairs for The Albright Group LLC, where she designed, managed and implemented press, public events and public relations strategy for former Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright and the Principals of The Albright Group LLC. She also served in the Clinton Administration as Deputy to the Director of Communications, Bureau of Public Affairs at the US Department of State and as Special Advisor to the Director of Presidential Personnel in The White House.
