Pat Cipollone was a litigation partner at Stein Mitchell Cipollone Beato & Missner LLP. He has served as counsel in a wide variety of cases including complex matters; class actions; significant investigations and regulatory disputes involving state and federal agencies such as the DOJ, SEC, FTC, FDA, DOT, HHS, FDIC, state attorney generals and insurance regulators; corporate crisis management and defense of litigation involving significant liability, government scrutiny and substantial media attention; complex construction matters, securities, financial services, banking, mortgage lending, consumer fraud and insurance litigation and investigations; congressional investigations; product liability cases; government contract matters; complex contract and commercial disputes; insurance matters; tax disputes; and constitutional cases with emphasis on first amendment issues. Mr. Cipollone also has substantial expertise in defamation counseling and litigation on behalf of corporations, organizations and public figures, including prepublication negotiations and/or litigation with major media organizations. Prior to joining Stein Mitchell as a name partner, Mr. Cipollone was a litigation partner for over a decade in the Washington, D.C. office of Kirkland & Ellis. He has litigated cases in state and federal courts, and before administrative agencies. Mr. Cipollone has represented clients in arbitrations, mediations, and complex negotiations.
