Randall Clark Wallace

In 2001 he created Allaire Studios at Glen Tonche, the 35-acre estate he owns on top of Mount Tonche in the Catskill Mountains.which converted several rooms, including the Great Hall with its 60-foot vaulted ceilings, into state-of-the-art recording rooms. The recording studios there that attracted the likes of Norah Jones, David Bowie and Natalie Merchant. He moved out to California in 2005 to share custody of his children with his ex-wife. A grandson of Henry A. Wallace, a vice president under Franklin D. Roosevelt, Mr. Wallace said he bought the estate in 1998, when he was looking for a cabin to be near the Ashokan Fiddle and Dance Camp.
