A practicing attorney since 1994 and a public servant for over 20 years, I led the fight for civil rights legislation to end discrimination in New York City housing practices and helped enact hundreds of laws protecting our children and seniors. I graduated cum laude from Brooklyn College, received a MSW from YU Wurzweiler School of Social Work, and earned a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
