Michael C. Sullivan is a Managing Director, Chief of Staff, and the Head of External Affairs of Point72 Asset Management, L.P. Mr. Sullivan joined the Firm in 2007 after working as a senior aide to a United States Senator, focusing on telecom, technology, and finance issues. Before serving in the U.S. Senate, Mr. Sullivan worked for a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives who sat on the Energy and Commerce Committee. Mr. Sullivan was the Director of Planning and Strategy for the United States Telecom Association before working on Capitol Hill. Mr. Sullivan received his BA in Communications and Political Science from Vanderbilt University. Mr. Sullivan serves on a number of boards of organizations in the New York area. He is a member of the Executive Committee of StudentsFirst New York, a nonprofit organization advocating for educational reform in New York State. Mr. Sullivan sits on the Board of the NYU Cohen Veterans Center which is focused on research and treatment of veterans with Post Traumatic Stress and Traumatic Brain Injury and ConnCan, an education reform nonprofit based in Connecticut. He is a member of the National Council of the American Enterprise Institute.
