Nick Vander Poel

Nick Vander Poel graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economic after growing up in Northern Nevada. Nick began his professional career on Capitol Hill in 2003 interning for a Nevada Congressman until he was recruited for a Nevada U.S. Senator working on a variety of issues. Nick returned to Northern Nevada accepting a position in a Congressional district office as a regional representative focusing on Military, Veterans Affairs, Transportation and Public Safety issues. In 2007, Nick received an appointment to serve in the Nevada Governor’s office working on legislative issues. In 2008, Nick was given the responsibility for oversight of the Governor's 200+ Boards and Commissions including board appointments and community outreach. In 2011, Nick joined a national non-profit focused on grassroots and political education. It was in this capacity that Nick broaden his relationships well beyond Nevada. By 2014, Nick was a trusted advisor and resource for the non-profit in which he led a variety of successful campaigns across the United States. Nick Vander Poel has an extensive career in government relations including state government service. He joined Capitol Partners, LLC in 2015
