Keith Kellogg

General Kellogg is a decorated veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1967 to 2003, including two tours during the Vietnam War, where he earned the Silver Star, the Bronze Star with “V” device, and the Air Medal with “V” device. He served as the Commander of the 82nd Airborne Division from 1997 to 1998. Prior to his retirement, General Kellogg was Director of the Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Directorate under the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He earned a B.A. in political science from Santa Clara University and an M.S. in international affairs from the University of Kansas. Kellogg went on to study senior level management and diplomacy at the Army War College After Kellogg retired from the Army in 2003, he was elected to the board of directors of GTSI, a government technology contractor. He also became senior vice president of homeland security solutions for Oracle Corp., the database and technology company. Kellogg took a leave of absence from Oracle Corp., from November 2003 to March 2004, to serve as the chief operations officer for the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq. CACI International Inc. made Kellogg its executive vice president of research and technology systems in January 2005. Kellogg worked for CACI until 2009. In July 2009, Kellogg joined Cubic Defense Applications, Inc., as senior vice president for ground combat programs. In September 2012, Cubic named Kellogg president of Abraxas, a subsidiary company. In January 2014, Kellogg became vice president of strategic initiatives of Cubic. Kellogg left Cubic later that year. General Kellogg previously served as Acting National Security Advisor to President Trump and as Chief of Staff and Executive Secretary of the National Security Council.
