Tom Stocky

Tom leads the Search product group at Facebook, overseeing the engineering, product and design teams for Search. Prior to Facebook, Tom was at Google for more than six years, where he helped start the company’s developer products team and later led teams working on search, client and travel products. Tom spent three years as a researcher at the MIT Media Lab, focusing primarily on natural language and gestural interfaces. He completed a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at the Media Lab, an M.B.A. at MIT Sloan School of Management, and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at MIT as well.
