Susan Jacobs Lockhart, recent past President of the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy, has served on its board from 1996 to 2002 and from 2006 to the present. As a member of the Taliesin Fellowship for forty-five years, she worked in all areas of the Foundation's activities. She was a faculty member of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, a graphic designer for Taliesin Architects, the director of the bi-annual Taliesin Day Symposium, a pianist, dancer and chef. As an artist, she currently works on commissions for architectural glass, steel sculpture and wood plate art. Her products have been licensed with Heath Ceramics, Tampopo, and J. Charles Crystalworks. Her firm, Susan Jacobs Lockhart Designs, now operates out of Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has served on the boards of The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and Taliesin Preservation Inc from 1990 to 1994 and Taliesin Architects Inc from 1993 to 2000. She was a founding director of Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society, Madison, WI and Rural Musicians Forum, Spring Green, WI, and served for many years on both boards. Other boards on which she has served include American Players Theatre and Jazz in Arizona.
