Rebecca Benn has spent the past two decades advising Congressional and corporate decision makers on a diverse set of public policy issues. Rebecca began her career as a legislative assistant in the office of U.S. Senator Thad Cochran; and, subsequently joined the U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations as a professional staff member. Benn served as the lead Republican negotiator for bicameral and bipartisan billion-dollar federal appropriations bills on the Subcommittee on Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies as well as the Subcommittee on Veterans Affairs, Housing and Urban Development, and Independent Agencies. Most recently, Rebecca served as director of federal affairs for CSX Transportation where she directed all government relations initiatives impacting automation, safety, environmental regulation and security while overseeing federal constituent relations for seven states. Rebecca Benn is originally from Jackson, Mississippi and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Dartmouth College. Rebecca resides in Washington, D.C.
