Mary McGrane

Mary McGrane joined Genzyme in 1999. She focuses on issues and legislation of specific concern to Genzyme, including Medicare, Medicaid, orphan drugs and the Food and Drug Administration. Prior to joining Genzyme, Ms. McGrane headed the Government Relations Department at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer Pharmaceuticals Inc. Before taking that position, she had spent 12 years on Capitol Hill. During eight of those years she was a staff member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, serving at various times as either Minority or Majority Counsel. Ms. McGrane has a J.D. from Catholic University School of Law and a M.A. from Drew University.
