Steve Dye

Steve Dye is a Principal at Marlowe & Company. He lobbies Congress and the Executive Branch on a wide range of issues, including appropriations, coastal issues, transportation, economic development, water and wastewater treatment, and not-for-profit issues. Mr. Dye has over seven years of Congressional experience working as a legislative aide to a U.S. Senator and as a legislative director to a U.S. Representative. Through his experience managing appropriations requests in both the House and Senate, as well as handling all legislative issues that came before the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee and the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, Mr. Dye is able to help clients achieve their goals by navigating the complex workings of the legislative process. His network of contacts on Capitol Hill and knowledge of Congressional procedure are an invaluable resource to clients. Prior to joining Marlowe & Company, Mr. Dye also served as Vice President of Government Affairs for a transportation trade association and as Director of Federal Affairs for a lobbying firm where he specialized in transportation and municipal needs. Mr. Dye holds a bachelor's degree in History from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
