Paul Ordal is a Vice President of Marlowe & Company, LLC. He lobbies Congress and the Executive Branch on a wide range of issues, including appropriations, coastal issues, transportation, economic development, homeland security, and not-for-profit issues. He also is the primary writer and editor of a weekly newsletter, the Coastal Connection. Mr. Ordal spent seven years working for the U.S. Senate. His knowledge of Congressional procedure and familiarity with the key players on Capitol Hill is a very important resource for our clients. Most recently, he was a Legislative Aide to a U.S. Senator, primarily handling appropriations and water resource issues. Prior to that, Mr. Ordal worked for several years for another senator in a variety of capacities. He worked closely with local and state officials on economic development issues, as well as supervising constituent service activities. He also served as an assistant in the Senate Cloakroom. Mr. Ordal holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Government/International Affairs from Augustana College. He attended graduate school at the University of Nebraksa-Lincoln, pursuing a master's degree in Political Science. He currently serves as an Advisory Board member for the University of Southern California's BrainTrust project.
