John Coumantaros

John Coumantaros has been president of Load Line Capital LLC and a director of Oxbow Carbon LLC since 2007. He began his career in 1984 at Southern Star Shipping, Co., Inc, General Agents in the International Maritime Industry. He became president of Southern Star in 2009. Mr. Coumantaros is also president of the Interstate Grain Corporation, an export grain facility in Corpus Christi, Texas. He serves as chairman of Flour Mills of Nigeria (“FMN”), one of the largest publicly-listed food and agro-allied concern in Nigeria with over 12,000 employees. Mr. Coumantaros is an attending member of the World Economic Forum and the Council on Corporate Africa. He is also a director of the Cycladic Art Foundation, a Trustee of The Buckley School and The Hotchkiss School and holds a B.A. from Yale University.
