Cindy Armine-Klein joined First Data May 12, 2014 as Chief Control Officer and is responsible for Compliance, Credit Risk, Audit, Third Party Oversight, and Privacy. She also leads LGBT programs as we continue to work on inclusion and diversity. Cindy came to First Data from JPMorgan Chase & Co. where she was the executive vice president and chief compliance officer. Her responsibilities there included leading enterprise compliance efforts, designing and implementing internal controls, policies and procedures to assure compliance with applicable laws and regulations; managing regulatory and compliance issues; and responding to requests for information from regulatory authorities. In addition, she managed strong proactive relationships with regulators and worked with JPMC business to identify, evaluate and mitigate compliance and reputational risks across the enterprise. Cindy spent 31 years at Citigroup and its predecessor firms before joining JPMorgan Chase. She was named Citigroup’s Global Chief Compliance Officer in 2008. In 2006, she was named Champion of Diversity for her work and her outstanding commitment to diversity. Cindy was inducted in the YWCA’s Academy of Women Leaders in 2007.
