Shawn Schukar

Shawn Schukar was named Vice President, Ameren Energy Inc. on June 1, 2005. Prior to this position, he was vice president, Commercial RTO Operations, for Ameren Services. Mr. Schukar joined the Ameren family as vice president, Energy Delivery Operations, for Illinois Power Company, now doing business as AmerenIP. Mr. Schukar joined Illinois Power (IP) in 1984 as an engineer at the Hennepin Power Station. He has held positions in power plant operations, power plant engineering, generation control, power trading, power marketing, retail pricing, risk management, transmission operations, transmission services, business planning, gas control, and customer tariff management.
