Jay Loy Helm

Mr. Helm is Chairman of American Residential Group, Ltd. Prior to forming American Residential Group he served for fifteen years as the Managing Partner of Lincoln Property Company in the Oklahoma and Arkansas Region. During his tenure with Lincoln, Mr. Helm coordinated the acquisition of over 10,000 units in thirty-six apartment communities, 6,000 of which are located in Oklahoma, and construction of 1,172 units in four apartment communities. During the nine years prior to Mr. Helm's association with Lincoln, he was a commercial broker and developer for his own firm, J.L. Helm Investment Real Estate. Prior to founding his own company, Mr. Helm worked as a commercial loan officer at Midland Mortgage Company and at the Hardesty Company in charge of single-family development. Mr. Helm graduated with a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University in 1970. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Regents for Oklahoma State University and A&M Colleges, on the Board of Trustees for OSU/Tulsa, the University Center at Tulsa Board of Directors, the Board of Directors for F & M Bank and Trust Company and the Tulsa Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Tulsa Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and is active in a number of civic projects, including the Tulsa Area United Way.
