Ed Haislmaier is a member of President-elect Trump’s HHS Landing Team and a senior research fellow at the Heritage Institute’s Center for Health Policy Studies. Haislmaier has expertise in Medicare, Medicaid, healthcare tax issues, the pharmaceutical industry and price controls. He has published extensively on ACA repeal-and-replace policies focusing on health insurance regulation, including risk mitigation and employer-sponsored health insurance. Before joining Heritage, Haislmaier was the director of healthcare policy at Pfizer and a health policy consultant. Haislmaier holds a bachelor’s in history from St. Mary’s College.
