Joe has been CEO of Freeman since 2008, during which time the company has experienced tremendous growth. He continually champions Freeman’s ability to serve clients with unmatched customer service, unparalleled brand experiences, and the most innovative solutions time and time again. Joe has focused his sights on serving the brand experience needs of clients around the world, which has prompted the company’s expansion in EMEA and Asia Pacific, with a commitment to continuing the company’s exceptional culture and strong values-led purpose as a strategic partner to Freeman’s growing customer base. Joe joined Freeman in 1997 as assistant treasurer. He was named vice president, finance and treasurer in 1999 before being promoted to president of Freeman’s Exposition Services Division two years later. He was promoted to CEO of Freeman in 2008. Prior to joining Freeman, he served as a government affairs representative for Roadway Services Inc., in Washington, D.C. After graduating from the Boston College Carroll School of Management with a bachelor’s degree in finance, Joe earned a master’s degree in business administration, with concentrations in economics and finance, from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Joe serves on the CEO Roundtable of the U.S. Travel Association, and previously served on the Board of Directors of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events and the Board of Trustees of the Professional Convention Management Association. Additionally, he is an associate of the Dallas Museum of Art and serves on the boards of St. Joseph’s Residence and the Catholic Disability Foundation. Follow Freeman
