Gordon Sondland

Gordon Sondland is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Provenance Hotel Partners. He founded Provenance Hotels and serves as its serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Sondland serves as Principal and Founding Member at The Aspen Companies LLC. At the firm, he is focused on financing, acquiring, developing and operating hotels. Mr. Sondland is primarily responsible for the development of Aspen Hotel Group. Mr. Sondland has been financing, developing, acquiring, and operating hotels since the mid-1980s, both individually as well as under the Westin, Sheraton, Radisson, WestCoast, and Kimpton flags. He is managing member and Director of the Aspen Companies. He also sits on several boards including U.S. Bank, Westin Hotels Marketing Corp., the Governors Economic Advisory Board and chairs the Portland Art Museum as well as the Governor’s Office of Film and Television.
