May Wall is a partner in the firm's environmental law department. She works extensively in identifying, quantifying, and allocating environmental risks in connection with corporate and real estate transactions. In this area, Ms. Wall represents equity investment groups and strategic buyers, as well as sellers and lenders. Representative transactions include acquisitions of companies in the coal, aerospace, paper, baking, publishing, power production, veterinary pharmaceuticals, and defense-related industries. Ms. Wall also works extensively with the firm's real estate finance attorneys for clients in the commercial mortgage-backed securitization business. Ms. Wall is a member of Winston & Strawn's Diversity, Hiring, and Women's Steering committees. She is the immediate past president and current director of the Women's Council on Energy and the Environment, and is a member of the Section on Environment, Energy and Resources of the American Bar Association. Ms. Wall received a B.S., cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts in 1977 and a J.D. from the George Washington University in 1986.
