Gavin Rodney Sword

Gavin Sword, CFA, MBA is a Founder of Gardant Capital Group. Mr. Sword has been President of Automated Shading since 2003. Previously, Mr. Sword was part of a three person team that launched the corporate finance division of Toronto-based First Associates Investments Inc., now Blackrock Capital. He managed the Institutional Corporate Finance Department of Dundee Securities, where he has guided entrepreneurs in creating growth strategies and accessing capital markets. He serves as a Member of Clinical & Scientific Advisory Board at Novx Systems, Inc. Mr. Sword has an MBA from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA and a BA in Economics from Harvard University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR) and a Certified Entrepreneurship Teacher (CET) with the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE).
